What’s in the box
- Foam glove cleaner (120 ml): pH-neutral and alcohol-free. Lifts dirt, sweat and infield dust before you condition. Good for up to 100 cleanings.
- Cream glove conditioner (135 ml): oil-free and water-based. Softens the leather without darkening it or making the glove heavy.
- One-piece hardwood mallet: shapes the pocket and works the hinge at the heel, the two spots that decide how a glove closes.
- Glove wrap: extra-long, with a hook-and-loop closure. Holds the glove closed around a ball overnight, for youth and adult gloves.
- Bristle brush: gets dirt out of the laces, the web and the seams.
- Microfiber cloth: spreads a thin coat of conditioner and buffs off the excess.
The ball is not included: any baseball or softball works.
How to use it in 3 evenings
- Evening 1 (30 minutes): brush the foam cleaner over the glove and wipe it off. Once dry, rub a thin coat of conditioner into the pocket and the hinges with the cloth. Flex the glove by hand, pound the pocket with the mallet for 10 to 15 minutes, then wrap it around a ball for the night.
- Evening 2 (20 minutes): mallet and flex again, no new conditioner unless the leather looks dry. Wrap it overnight.
- Evening 3: check that the glove closes on its own, then play catch. Real catches finish the job.
